Mimi Mahlasela

Nobuhle Mahlasela is a trained actress from eKasi. Fondly known as Mimi, she has been in the entertainment industry for over 18 years, and she has established a stunning portfolio in TV, film and as a first rate voice over artist. She dabbles in MC work, Tv production and stage theatre, and has worked with renowned brands in advertisement and household products.

Mimi is well-known known for her role on the SAFTA and You Spectacular award winning soapie ‘7de Laan’ as the much-loved “AGGIE”. She also appeared in renowned films – including a Leon Schuster blockbuster and has also recently appeared in top production stage plays.

Advocating for plus-size positive body image, Mimi recently co-produced a reality TV series to promote plus size body positivity, and she does public speaking as a formidable fuller figured model herself.
